Chando currently lives with her family in New York City. Chando studied at Manhattan College before becoming an actress. Chando was the very first Maddie Coleman of the television soap opera As World turns. The role she played was between 2005 and 2007 and then again, for a period of time in 2009 at the end. Alexandra began her career in acting on the TV show House Blend on which she portrayed Jenna Harper. In the following three seasons, she starred on the American soap opera on TV which aired in CBS, As the World Turns in the role of Maddie Coleman. Chando was also cast in the lead actress in a documentary TV series in America, True life, and appeared in Sherri. In addition, she appeared in two episodes of American comedy-drama show Glory Daze as Annabelle. Other TV credits include Castle, Hindsight Dead People as well as Outcast.
