Molly is a Pennsylvania native, who started acting professionally when she was thirteen years old at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater, in The Snow Queen. Soon after she played Little Red Ridinghood in the Arden Theater s production of Into the Woods for which she was nominated for a Barrymore Award. After making her Broadway debut, at the tender age of 15, she reprised her role and won a Drama League Award. Molly also performed in the Broadway version of Fiddler on the Roof in 2004. Molly then went to Princeton University where she was an active member of the Triangle Club and graduated in 2008 with the degree of a B.A. She graduated in 2008 with a B.A. Also, she appeared in Disney's College Road Trip, playing Wendy Greenhut. Molly started her acting career following having completed her Off-Broadway stage debuts, such as End Days and The Wonderful Maladys on HBO Pilot. Molly is a part of several regional plays including The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in the Barrington Stage Company, North Shore Music Theatre as well as Westport Country Players' show The Diary of Anne Frank. She played Anne. Molly was a part of several regional productions, including The Diary of Anne-Frank at Westport Country Playhouse's production in 2010. She performed the role of the teenage daughter Ali.
